Terms & Conditions

Welcome to VK Digital. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our music distribution, marketing, and protection services. By submitting your content to us, you agree to be bound by the following:

1. Scope of Services

VK Digital provides digital music distribution to global streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, Wynk, YouTube, etc.), digital marketing, and Content ID protection.

  • Timeline: We aim to distribute content to major platforms within 48 to 72 hours of final approval.
  • Caller Tunes: We facilitate the setup of customized Caller Ring Back Tones (CRBT) through supported telecom operators.

2. Grant of Rights

By using our services, you (the “Artist/Label”) grant VK Digital a exclusive, sub-licensable right to:

  • Distribute, sell, and stream your content globally.
  • Use your name, likeness, and album art for promotional and marketing purposes.
  • Collect and manage royalties/revenue generated from these platforms.

3. Content Ownership

  • Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of your Master Recordings and Underlying Works (Lyrics/Composition).
  • Originality: You warrant that the content submitted is original and does not infringe upon the copyrights or intellectual property of any third party.

4. Revenue Sharing & Payments

  • Revenue Model: All services are provided on a Revenue Share Basis. The specific percentage split will be as per the individual agreement/dashboard settings.
  • Reporting: Payouts and reports are issued based on the data received from digital service providers (DSPs).
  • Taxes: All payments are subject to applicable taxes (GST, TDS) as per Indian Government regulations.

5. Content Protection & Copyright

  • 100% Protection: VK Digital uses advanced tools and Content ID systems to protect your intellectual property.
  • Infringement: If your content is found to be infringing on others’ rights (e.g., uncleared samples or “stolen” beats), VK Digital reserves the right to take down the content and withhold earnings.

6. Artist Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing high-quality audio files (WAV/FLAC) and metadata.
  • You must ensure all necessary clearances for featured artists or samples are obtained before submission.

7. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the association by providing a 30-day written notice.
  • Upon termination, VK Digital will issue “Takedown” requests to all platforms. Please note that individual platforms may take 15–30 days to remove content from their libraries.

8. Limitation of Liability

VK Digital acts as a bridge between the artist and the digital platforms. We are not responsible for:

  • Technical glitches or delays on the part of the streaming platforms.
  • Fluctuations in streaming revenue or audience engagement.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indora,Kangra,Himachal Pradesh.
